Michael Hippler

Michael tells honest, spiritually grounded stories of struggle and grace. He writes books for people in recovery, in spiritual transition, or seeking God beyond easy answers. His goal is simple: to create work that doesn’t preach or perform—but only walks beside.

Michael spent more than thirty years in the electrical and automation industry before illness, addiction, and spiritual exhaustion brought him to a collapse he could not outwork or outplan. What followed was not a quick fix but a slow surrender—through recovery, silence, and the daily disciplines of prayer and Scripture, he learned to live from grace rather than achievement. That journey is the foundation of Fieldstone Books. He is a postulant for the diaconate in the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio, an active member of his parish community, and the author of He Reached Down: A Memoir of Collapse and Grace.
